Pace belongs to you
We never put a clock on a feeling. Sessions move at the speed of safety, and we would rather go slowly than undo progress by rushing it.
Our story
Hearthroot began in 2014 with one stubborn belief: that the slow work of feeling whole deserves a practitioner who remembers your name, your history, and what last week felt like.
Why we exist
Our founder spent a decade inside services where you re-tell the worst chapter of your life to a different stranger each time. It does not work. Trust is the medicine, and trust needs continuity.
So Hearthroot was built around one rule we will not bend: you keep your practitioner. They learn your patterns, hold your context, and walk the whole path with you, whether that path is emotional, practical, or both at once.
What guides us
01
We never put a clock on a feeling. Sessions move at the speed of safety, and we would rather go slowly than undo progress by rushing it.
02
Every room, call, and document is built to be usable. Claiming the dignity and accommodations you are owed is part of the work, not an afterthought.
03
No jargon walls. We explain what we are doing and why, so you are always a participant in your own care, never a passenger.
04
When you are ready to need us less, we step back gently and leave you with tools that are yours to keep. The door stays open.
The people
Eleven practitioners across three disciplines. Small enough that everyone knows your story when it matters.
Founder · Lead therapist
Trauma-informed and IFS-trained, Imara started Hearthroot after a decade in public mental health. She still carries a full caseload because she refuses to stop doing the work.
Access & advocacy lead
Soren helps clients navigate documentation, credentials, and the practical side of living well with a disability or chronic condition, without the bureaucracy fatigue.
Embodied confidence coach
A former clinical aesthetician, Priya guides clients and practitioners toward choices about appearance and restoration that come from steadiness rather than pressure.
No pressure, ever
The first conversation is just that, a conversation. We will be honest if we are not the right studio for you.
